Anyways, I raced through that trade as always, and then took a look on my shelf for something that I got, didn't read at the time, and put on the shelf for later (as opposed to my habit with single issues of strewing them across the floor).
Irredeemable, a series I hadn't touched for a while screamed out to me. I really don't know why I haven't read this book since seems like forever. In fact, I think I read the first 2 or 3 trades in pretty rapid succession, and then for whatever reason (superhero'ed out?), put it aside but kept ordering the trades until now (I think they're up to 6).
Anyways, to make a long story short, after having read both The Walking Dead vol. 14 - No Way Out, and Irredeemable Vol. 5, I noticed an interesting similarity that I'll comment on below, and I wanted to put these books together to talk about because of this similarity.
*Note: There will be no specific spoilers for The Walking Dead. I'm just going to talk about how it made me feel, and if you can surmise plot points from that… well, I can't help you.

The Walking Dead Vol. 14 - No Way Out
Written by: Robert Kirkman

I was at a place where I imagined the possibilities from my point of view, and now I get to see where the architect of the story itself gets to take the characters. Thats really cool, so Waid and Kirkman…
...lets see what'cha got next…
